Apple Valley Orchard tract sells in large deal
One of the region’s largest real estate transactions closed with the sale of the Apple Valley Orchard Company tract at Apple Valley. B L Blackham, a former Payette man now of Ogden Utah, arrived in Payette to attend the Stockman's Convention and greet old friends. He moved to Ogden in 1909 and has since built a thriving fancy Hereford cattle business, handling 1800 to 2000 registered animals yearly, and may return in spring with cattle to trade with local ranchers.
