Nancy Layman born July 16 1847 near Vernon Illinois died September 22 1928 at her daughter Flora Dickey’s home in Vernon Illinois at 2 PM. She was 81 years 2 months and 10 days old. Rochelle Illinois September 26 Charges by Floyd E Thompson accusing Louis L Emmerson of involvement with state funds in the Ridgely Farmers Bank deal were denied by Assistant Attorney General Charles W Hadley.
