Injured While Working on Truck Near Fairy Dell
Claud Adams was badly scalded by steam escaping from a radiator while working on his truck near Fairy Dell. He was en route to Salem with grass seed for Patoka Elevator Co. The belt broke and the steam injury occurred as he opened the radiator. He is recovering and expected to return to work soon, with Donald Crawford driving the truck during his convalescence.
