Ivalonia J. Nichols born February 28, 1829 in Marion County Illinois died after a paralytic stroke. She married John Bethards in 1846 and leaves nine sons and three daughters with multiple grandchildren in Fayette and surrounding counties. She joined the M E church in 1847 and lived in Marion Fayette counties most of her life.
