President Mrs Orville Schroeder led the business meeting which set November 30 for the Toy Sale at the Schroeder Garage. Wode L Brown dies suddenly in Houston Texas from a heart attack while driving. His brothers C E Brown and W H Brown of Decatur travel to attend funeral services and burial after notification. Lewis Des Ruisseaux Dies in Blackfoot Idaho at 84
Mr. Lewis Des Ruisseaux died at a Blackfoot hospital on Sunday morning November 24 at age 84. He is survived by his wife of Vernon. The body reached Cox and Martin Funeral Home in Patoka on Wednesday evening. Service at St. Lawrence Church in Sandoval Friday morning with Rev. E H Schumacher officiating. Burial in Magassi Cemetery.

The Good Will Club Meets and Plans Chili Supper
The Good Will club gathered at Lutle Belcher’s home with nineteen members and six guests. They pieced blocks, bound two quilts, enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner, welcomed new member Glenna Hollingshead, and set a chili supper for Nov. 29. A tie in the contest left Ferne Arnold and Tina Murfin tied. Donations to the cemetery fund reached 3.00 from Mr. and Mrs. Louie Bates. The club adjourned to meet with Vivian Binnion on Dec. 4.
