Truman By-Passed Wilson in Wage Price Clash
An Associated Press dispatch reports Charles E. Wilson resigned as National Defense Mobilization Director after being bypassed nine ways from Sunday in wage price negotiations. Wilson blamed the President and his office for taking over the wage stabilization effort, saying organized labor roared and pressured concessions, altering the entire wage stability structure. He argues the administration yielded to labor demands, weakening free enterprise.
