Capt. and Mrs. James Davis of Atlanta were summoned to Weld last Thursday due to the sudden death of James Barnes, the captain and Mrs. Davis’s stepfather. Miss Marion Epps arrived from Springfield Saturday and remained with her parents J. W. Epps through Sunday.
Pvt. Jesse E. Ripple Jr. recently back from Austria left Sunday for New Jersey to receive new orders. Miss Mary Rossyk of Cicero stays with Frank Horejsj Sr. while Frank Junior is hospitalized. Clifford Page and his wife and three boys spent ten days in Wisconsin on a fishing trip.
