Obituary of Frederick Leininger from Vernon Illinois
Frederick Leininger born July 20 1844 in Wisconsin died June 5 1935 at his Vernon home at 11 a m after a long illness he was 90 years 11 months 15 days. He served in the Civil War and later married Mariah Epperson then Lucinda Cox and had several children. He joined the Methodist Church helped build a church in 1881 and was buried in Tillman cemetery after services conducted by Revs Smith and Story.

Dr. J Hudspeth returned to Sandoval to find a large crowd aiding in extinguishing a fire that partly destroyed the home. Interior sections burned while three rooms remained unharmed. Suspected stove caused blaze. Dr Hudspeth, formerly of Patoka, now resides with T Green and son Anderson in Sandoval. A prior dwelling had burned previously. He is staying in Patoka with brother J Hudspeth and wife at the Central Hotel.
