Cubs and Giants played an eight inning contest Monday night before a large crowd. The Cubs won 13 to 11 after an unofficial box score caused contention about the runs. If this game affects the championship race it may be replayed.

The May meeting at Mrs. Emma Smith's home featured a devotional, business session, and a Bible quiz arranged by Mrs. Elsie Gray, followed by refreshments. The June gathering at Mrs. Belle Willett's home included devotions by Mrs. Edna McGee, business, social time, and refreshments by Mrs. Willett and Mrs. Mae Simcox. Lyle Donald Green Dies Suddenly near Loma Montana

Lyle Donald Green born in Kinmundy Illinois died suddenly Sunday about 12:30 pm while swimming near the new bridge east of Loma Montana. He had moved to Montana as a child and resided in Chouteau county near Loma. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Luther Chapel conducted by Rev. Joe R. Benton. He is survived by his parents and two brothers Darrell and Dwight.
