School Notes and Oddities From the Senior Class
The Senior Class completed a geometry book tour while Miss Pansy Parks was absent due to bad roads. A rumor says an Honor Junior wishes to transfer to room three. The Juniors sent a billet doux to the Seniors and, in physics, the class is reviewing mechanics. The Annual colors caused comment as a Junior colored ribbon. There is talk of a sleigh ride before winter ends. Messrs. F Bellamy and Buck of Vandalia visited relatives here last week. Weather is clearing and snow is nearly gone. A note on mail service blames missed White Haven items on the mail carrier. No school Wednesday due to bad weather. Farmers' telephone lines were damaged in the storm but many are repaired. Leslie Ford preached at Bear Creek with good attendance. Bro Walker began a protracted meeting. The sleigh bell signals winter was found again. Mail carrier George Payne was reluctant to venture out last week. Juniors are reading Hamlet by Shakespeare. The eighth grade and some seventh will take central exams Thursday and Friday. The Seniors argue pink and white are not puny colors, showing fine taste in choosing them.
