Vernon News Notes and Local Events Update

Vernon reports a Monday car wreck injuring Mrs. Addie Jones though Milton Bayliss escaped harm. Visitors include Mrs. Walter Dukes of Wyoming and Kinmundy trips. Vernon grade school won a second place Oil Belt Trophy with Kell first and Young third. score 40 to 39 against Kell. Also listed are church programs, visits, and holiday events with dates through December and January 1950. A court sale notice in Patoka describes the sale of Stephen Franklin Eaglin estate property.
