A Double Accident
Len Caldwell and his wife suffered injuries after a Friday accident near Salem. The rig overturned when frightened horses bolted, breaking Len Caldwell’s limb and breaking Mrs Caldwell’s leg in two places. Neighbors and friends extend sympathy.

Generous Offer Sparks Husking Seeded by Anson Griffin
The Ladies' Aid Society of the M. E. Church South husked 29 bushels in 1 hour 10 minutes on a Monday afternoon, accepting corn from Bro. Anson Griffin who north east of town offered field work for payment. Louie Wasemi bought the corn for 50 cents a bushel and paid $14.50 after weighing at Patoka mill.

Okaw Camp No. 761 M. W. of A. formed in Patoka in May 1893 and died in August 1907 at age 14 years 3 months. Funeral at I O O F hall November 27 1907. It leaves 87 Sons of the Forest and many mourners. The group was resurrected to continue aiding the needy and protecting widows and orphans.

Thanksgiving Dinner Blessings for Pastor and Family
