Rev. Lucas conducted Sunday services at Bear Creek church. Bear Creek P T A moved its November meeting to Wednesday due to Thanksgiving vacation. Mr and Mrs R A Brummett visited Vandalia for Thanksgiving. Mrs Mattie Linton will spend winter in Kinmundy with the B F Linton family.
Mr and Mrs Lawrence Robertson and daughter Doris of Vandalia attended church at Bear Creek on Sunday. Eugene Crane spent the Thanksgiving holidays husking corn at No komis Illinois.
