Sealed proposals will be received by Patoka Village Illinois until 2:30 p.m. CST on September 13 1949 for furnishing labor material and equipment to construct a complete waterworks system including 6 and 4 inch mains 2 inch mains 32 fire hydrants 262 services wells pumping installation pump house 60000 gallon elevated steel tank and foundations Plans by Caldwell Rhoads Co Jacksonville Illinois on file at Village Clerk and Caldwell Rhoads Co Bid security required by ten percent of bid wage rates set per Illinois law Bond to cover liens and damages Contract to commence within ten days of notice and be completed per plans Plans available from Engineer with ten dollar deposit for extra plans non-bidders five dollars returnable if plans are returned in good condition within ten days after bid opening Village reserves right to reject bids and waive informalities.
