Carpentier Warns No Child Under 16 May Drive Car
Springfield special service secretary Charles F. Carpentier warned that no child under 16 may legally drive a car in Illinois though the operation is for instruction. He cited a Joliet accident involving a 14 year old driver and fatal injury to a 2½ year old.
