High Temperature Affecting Fish In Local Lakes
A week of hot high humidity altered fishing at Little Grassy Lake and nearby waters. Bass sizes varied from 6 1/2 pounds to 11 pounds in different spots while anglers reported poor overall bites and many fish escaping the hook. Some anglers found success with surface lures and bottom-bumping jigs as others noted shallow water activity and limited action at Crab Orchard Lake. Local fishermen hope for a weather change to revive bites.
