Mrs Leona Davis visited relatives in Springfield while other families gathered at homes across the area. Vickie Davis and her mother were injured in a crash in Springfield and hospitalized with Vickie listed as critical but improving. Rev Charles Owens led a weeklong revival at Diamond Springs Baptist Church, and a Spring Concert drew a large High School crowd.

Tri County Electric Award Finalists Named

The topic was Contributions of Tri County Electric Cooperative to this Area. Final judging pits area juniors against semi finalists from Washington and Jefferson Counties with three winners earning an all expense paid trip to Washington DC June 6 to 14.
