San Gabriel Man Killed by Husband in Love Triangle

George Jurgeleit, 25, was shot in Westminster as he left the home of Howard D. Logston. Logston, wife Patricia, and Jurgeleit had discussed a dispute. Logston, discovering no agreement, returned with a pistol and fired through a window. Jurgeleit died from head and chest wounds as Logston led police to the scene. Three Logston children woke to the gunfire.

Man pleads guilty in abortion death case in New York

Leo Pijuan interrupted his trial to admit dismembering the body of Jacqueline Smith, 20, a fabrics designer, who died during an abortion attempt. He pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter. His Test Pilot Daddy's Death

An eight year old in Maplewood School in Austin told classmates that his father Wilburn S. Rose, a test pilot, was killed in a Tuesday airplane crash near Mercury Nevada. The boy said his mother urged bravery and he described his father's death as the top story.

Two Firemen Die in Blast at Maryland Oil Plant

A series of explosions and fire at the Kent Oil Co bulk storage plant in Galena Maryland killed two firemen and injured at least eight others.
