Heart Massage Saves Baby at Covina Hospital

An unidentified surgeon at Inter-Community Hospital Covina revived a 6 week old during a hernia operation on Richard Clarke son of Mr and Mrs Richard Clarke of 2204 Deodar West Covina. After about two minutes with no bleeding or color the doctor massaged the heart and the child cried soon after. The operation then finished and the baby was reported in good condition. The physician requested anonymity.

Firing Squads Execute Two Utah Slayers

La Canada Man Survives Earlier Kidnap Plot

Ralph W. Dorn of La Canada was targeted in a prior kidnap robbery and extortion plot less than three years ago.
