Princess Grace of Monaco, 26, American actress from Philadelphia, is reportedly six weeks pregnant and due in February. Prince Rainier announced the pregnancy in a radio address. Grace and Rainier wed in April with a religious ceremony on April 19.
Albert Woolson, the last Union Army Civil War veteran, died in Duluth at age 109. The Grand Army of the Republic loses its symbolic survivor as Woolson, once a drummer boy, outlived thousands of comrades and marked the end of an era.
Two men fired shotguns and rifles for about 15 minutes over a disputed fence between houses at 12059 and 12065 Adelphia St Pacoima. Officers Lee Bovey and Harvey Bouler arrested Dalles Guillory 27 and George Ricks 38 on assault with a deadly weapon charges. A nearby garage was hit by bullets. no injuries reported. She fired a bullet injuring him slightly and was arrested for assault with intent to commit murder after claiming she hates actors.
