Temple of the Universal Spirit Ashrama in La Crescenta
A century old spiritual retreat, Ananda Ashrama, founded by Swami Paramananda in 1923 near the Sierra Madre foothills, grew from Vedanta centers in New York and Boston. Led now by Rev Mother Sudha Puri, the La Crescenta temple hosts daily services at 8:30 am, 12:30 pm and 5 pm.
