Dr Robert Shelton dies after long career in medicine and military service. A native of Oklahoma raised in Glendora he practiced in Inglewood from 1939 then served six years on the Army Medical Corps including campaigns in New Guinea and the Philippines. He held leadership roles in the Community Chest United Way San Gabriel Valley AI D Pasadena Medical and local hospitals and clubs. Survived by widow Mary five children and other relatives. Funeral rites held Monday in Pasadena.
