The Manitoba Telephone System announces a new automatic dial office at Clearwater Lake to start on May 26, replacing the portable unit in service since October 1960. About 100 local customers will receive seven digit numbers. long distance calls stay via The Pas Exchange. A supplementary directory lists the new numbers for Clearwater Lake and The Pas.
Mary Yurkevich and Eugene Lukey wed at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cathedral in The Pas Manitoba on May 16 1904 at 4 pm in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev Father Bilodeau. The bride wore a white gown with a two rose waist train and red rose bouquet.
