Lions Club Dinner Recaps Trip Lessons and Elections
The club’s April 25 meeting at Warner's Lunch included a letter from a U S A young woman about the Trappers Festival and a wish to move to The Pas area in Canada. Nominations for the 1966 67 executive were announced led by President Jack Williams and several vice presidents. A ROAD E O drive will test driving and exams with a Winnipeg trip and a $2500 scholarship prize. John Bodnar spoke on travel in Europe outlining Turkey Belgrade Hamburg Athens Switzerland and more. The Pas Library and Salvation Army requests for support and canvassing volunteers were noted.
