Town Council approves budget items and seeks Handi Van support
The Pas council referred a Handi Van request from The Pas Branch of the Manitoba League of the Physically Handicapped and the Golden Age Group to the finance committee. They noted current van use moved about 1,000 people in 13 months and urged provincial funding while planning a March ninth public meeting. The council also passed numerous settlements, grants, and by law steps for street closures near the Provincial Building.
