Judge Wm. R. Martin jailed Eugene Fortin on four weekend sentences totaling 30 days each for disturbance and other charges. Local man Ben Falk killed in Cessna crash near The Pas
Ben Falk of The Pas died when his Cessna 150 crashed sixty miles southeast of The Pas last Thursday night. The wreckage was found Friday after a Canadian Forces Twin Otter detected an ELT signal and a rescue team confirmed the fatality. Falk, not married, lived in Timberland Trailer Court and worked with the Marida Mennonite Brethren Home Mission and Simonhouse Bible Camps. Funeral services were held in Niverville with a memorial in The Pas Christian Centre planned for this evening.
