Election Corner Sees Takashima Nomination Names Replaced
Six of fifty names on George Takashima's nomination papers for the June 28 provincial election were removed and substituted after the Returning Officer found they were not enumerated. A seventh name, Alfred Head, was challenged but later questioned by a misaligned residence list. Ron McBryde's agent Ed Grant and Mrs. Grant had to have their names added at the Court of Revision.
