Trappers Festival Highlights Winter Fun In Manitoba
The 26th Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival drew hundreds as John Calvert of The Pas won the World Championship Dog Race with a 12:26:22 time, breaking records. Alex Cook of Brochet took second, Swanson Highway finished third, with Labatt’s sponsoring prize money and the Labatt trophy awarded to Calvert.
