Leisure Lookout: Bicycle safety, Games bids, and fall plans
The Bike A Thon drew nine participants with some riders completing up to 26 miles. Hubert Messman will visit from Winnipeg to discuss this year and next year’s Bicycle Safety Programme. The Pas area explores hosting the 1976 Summer Regional Games with a Games Council and regional support. A Men’s Flag Football League is being considered. Red Cross swimming ends a strong summer with 1000+ weekly attendees. Helen Wythe promotes a town Fun Day on August 23 1975 with free pool and bonfire activities. Ice making for the arena is planned to start September 16 1975.
