Sacred Heart School to Drop Two Grades
The Kelsey School Board reports Sacred Heart will transfer about 75 elementary pupils to public schools this fall, affecting grades three and four. Overcrowding and lack of funds prevent new facilities, while grade one is expected to reach about 40 pupils next September. Grades seven and eight will split into separate classrooms next term, but Sacred Heart will keep the same number of classrooms overall.
