Old Town Ceramics thrives as hobby turns big business
Connie Havard and her husband operate Old Town Ceramics north of Winnipeg turning a hobby into a growing venture. They manage about 700 molds from Canada to New York and Texas with greenware firing costing students extra. The shop, home to four kilns, serves Thompson to Swan River and beyond, displaying 300 pieces last June.
