Oil painting workshop inspires Pas artists with Ken Bailey
Twenty five Pas artists attended a two day oil painting workshop by Ken Bailey at K.C.C. March 23 and 24. Bailey urged starting simple subjects to master basics and grow together while emphasizing learning and communication of ideas. The Opasquia Art Club sponsored the event with thanks to Nancy Bown and organizers.

Air Patrol Members Graduate in First Aid Civil Air Patrol
Sixteen members of the local Civil Air Patrol chapter graduated from St. John’s Ambulance first aid course taught by Town of The Pas Fire Chief Dick Wright. Names of certified members are listed. At a later meeting the group discussed the basic survival course phase two, including an overnight camp-out and shelter building with trainees to conduct exercises this weekend.
