An Associated Press dispatch reports J Harold Mitchell, 47, superintendent of Safford Arizona schools, chosen as President of the Mount Graham Stake on Sunday to succeed Farnball who joined the Council of the Twelve Apostles. Elder Bimball gave a farewell and will leave Safford for Salt Lake City. Mitchell, a longtime real estate and livestock owner, has served as a Councillor to Farnball and spent summers in the area while guiding local church affairs.
