Funeral Service for Miss Clara Smith in Los Angeles
Beautiful and impressive services were held at Eldred Y. Robinson Mortuary for Clara Smith who died in Los Angeles two weeks ago. Bishop N Harrison of Velvedere Ward spoke and poems were read. Pallbearers were from L. O. S. era, with classmates from Lewis Stevenson Junior High and school friends as honorary pallbearers. Interment at Tease Will cemetery. Teachers from local grade schools attended the U A convention in Salt Lake City.

Funeral Services Held For Respected Resident
Funeral services for Eller Melisag Davenport Hyatt 65 wife of J A Myatt Sr were held Monday afternoon in the West Ward Chapel after a long cancer battle. Bishop I L Adams of the West Ward conducted the service. Speakers included Simon A Matherson Walter C Mitchell and Bishop Wein Adams. Music by the choir Delia Marsden and Mary Lyman with solos by Wa M Dalton Berta Mitchett and Kula D Orton. The grave at the cemetery was dedicated by Lyon P Orton. Pallbearers were five sons and a grandson. Mrs Hyatt born March 18 1872 at Parowan spent her life here and is survived by eleven children three sisters and three brothers along with thirteen grandchildren.

Board To Aid Students With Text Book Expense

Seminary building funds boosted by banquet and sale
Approximately $500 was raised at a Saturday banquet, auction, and dance to aid the new seminary building. About $3,000 remains to be raised by three wards. Virgin River Bridge Dedicated With Impressive Ceremonies
