Principal Je Douiki Pymm announced an Armistice Day oratorical contest sponsor Kr Pyom will award a new medal to the student who best exercises debating and public speaking. Contestants may write on any aspect of the topic Armistice Day with some reference to it. The winning speech will be delivered on November eleventh. The medal will be awarded annually as long as the sponsor remains linked to the school. This is the first honor medal offered at Parowan High School.
Marriage licences were issued last week to Maurine Leigh of Cedar and F Glegg of Heber City. Valhalla Angell and Orin Dalton, both of Leeds, were also granted licences.
