Dixie Preserve Opens to Hunting This Season
The Dixie State Game Preserve will reopen for hunting during the regular season from October 20 to 30 with the same rules as last year. Only one buck deer at least five inches long may be killed. Hunters must register at checking stations, carry a State game license, wear a numbered tag, and pay fifty cents for checks and tags. Washington County and Cedar City associations manage south and north halves respectively, with stations along main roads and pre-registered tags available after October 16.
