Stevens Celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary in Parowan
Mr and Mrs Joseph Stevens of Parowan mark their sixtieth wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday November 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the First Second Ward Relief Society Rooms. They are parents of eight living children and have 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Polio Strikes Virginia Mercer in Salt Lake City
Eleven year old Virginia Mercer, daughter of Mr and Mrs James Mercer, was stricken with polio and rushed to Salt Lake City. Her right leg is paralyzed but she is responding to treatment and doctors hope she may not need braces. Both parents remain with her in Salt Lake.
