Yankee Reservoir Near High Water Mark After Snow and Trail Delays
Reporters led by Robert Fowler and partners measured Yankee Reservoir water at 5.30 feet Sunday, within four inches of last year’s peak. A march of snow, timber drifts, and a stalled car delayed restocking plans as crews searched for fish trucks and moved through heavy drifts toward Vermilion Castle camp.
