Wyoming Court Action Vindicates Clark Lyman
The Basin Republican reports that Clark Lyman of Otto Wyoming was cleared after Seth D. Markley, cashier of Basin State Bank, was found not guilty. The verdict showed Markley acted for the bank, not himself, vindicating Lyman. The State’s Attorney moved to dismiss remaining cases against Markley and Lyman.

Elder Orton Released From Mission Expected Home This Week
Word reached readers that Elder Alincon H.r, serving twenty nine months in the West Texas district of the Central States mission of the L D S church, has been released and will likely be home by week’s end. He plans to depart San Antonio and pass Mesa, Arizona, for a brief visit before returning home. Also reports say Elder Wm M Dalton, laboring in the German Mission for two and a half years, is expected to be released soon.

Oiling Delayed for Parowan Winn Hollow Road Work
District Road engineer Wh Osbourn says oiling of the highway from Parowan courthouse to Winn Hollow will not start before June first due to need for temperatures above seventy degrees. Limited crews can cover about three quarters of a mile daily, with Cedar Canyon work likely delayed until June. Several other projects in Washington Kane counties may proceed as weather allows.
