Despite extensive efforts including church and school notices, handbills, and the High School band, turnout was minimal and taxpayers largely abstained. Countywide results awaited final tallies with Parowan showing bonds likely carried.

Relief Society Annual Day in Parowan Opera House

The Parowan Ward Relief Society invites the public to attend the 75th anniversary of the society on Tuesday March 19 1938 at 7 30 pm in the Opera House. A program will be rendered and a sale of hats rugs dresses shawls and more will be offered. Tickets cost ten cents with proceeds to benefit the society.

Red Croce Party a Success

A Red Crore party raised funds via a clerks of the Equitable event. Proceeds totaled $oy and were turned over to the Forewan Branch. Attendees enjoyed peach, ice cream, and refreshments. expenses were paid from the fund. Clerks deserve credit for the smooth execution of the gathering.
