Last Saturday the Cedar Times editor spent hours listening to John F Fuller urge strong booster effort for the upcoming Cedar County Fair this fall. He advised boosting as done for Parowan’s fair last fall and promoted a robust July celebration. Water permit application rejected for Center Creek source

The Times editor reports H EY Groosin of Farowan Chi Company visited Oplenqid farm near Sumit last week. Mr Glaze has developed about 170 acres and seeded crops including cane corn potatoes and fruit trees. He built sheds fences and a home and installed a pump well supplying water for farming and a garden. Neighbors urged him to water but he pursued arid methods with noted success. The Glaze operation is linked with nearby farms and locals predict future expansion under similar conditions.
