Misa Irene Dalton of Parowan and Arthur Dix of Cedar City were injured when their car leaving Yarowall Canyon overturned after a tire blew out. Irene suffered a broken toe and bruises, Dix had scalp lacerations and a badly bruised arm. They traveled to Salt Lake City to visit relatives and will bring Artell back after visiting Thelma and a family in Bountiful.

Seven Injured In Car Collision South Of Here
Seven persons were taken to the county hospital after a wreck on the highway three miles southwest of here. A Chrysler sedan driven by Dean Forsyth of Newcastle collided with a Buick, sending one car to the junk heap and the other to the repair shop. The highway was blocked as victims were aided, with details incomplete and no serious fatalities yet confirmed.

Martin Gamble and Oakland Miniard, members of the Jara CCC ramp, were sentenced to 20 days in county jail by Precinct Justice Alex H Iloilo after a complaint by Mrs Cleo Latger Bers alleged wilful and malicious disturbance of the peace.
