Aged Resident Lam Bead Passes After Long Life of Service
An aged Parowan resident, Lam W Vevneadar, died after a long life of community service. Funeral services were held Friday in the 102 Chapel with many friends and family in attendance. He helped pioneer artesian water development in Parowan and neighboring towns and was a respected figure in Wren County’s early growth. Born February 13 1931 in West Virginia, he moved with his parents to Miata as a youth and later settled in Parowan. He leaves a wife, four sons, and three daughters among his surviving relatives.
