In a tense Southern division game Tuesday night a rugged contest saw Parwan High School edged by BF with a final score near 42 to 37. Ward, the host center, fouled out early in the second half, while Ferran and Bas stepped up but the visitors held on for the win as the crowd near Codero cheered the spirited effort from both sides.

January Weather 1922 Extremes and Snowfall Record

The month saw brutal cold with thermometer readings down to 3 to 2 below zero. A frigid anniversary fell on the 19th and the 29th brought another deep freeze. About 15 inches of snow fell, much melting to produce 35 hundredths of water, leaving ground largely unfrozen before the storm.
