Pendleton to lead Southern Utah Wildlife Federation
F. Warren Pendleton was named head of the Southern Utah Wildlife Federation for two years at a Cedar City meeting. He succeeds C. A. Thomas who led the state federation. Pendleton, longtime Parowan Gun and Red Club president, also serves on several committees and supports ranges and watershed preservation. George Proctor and Mack Sanders were elected as first and second vice presidents, representing Panguitch Wildlife Federation and Hurricane.

Parowan Works On Christmas Street Lighting Effort
Members of the Parowan Businessmen Association and Tri-H Club spent part of the week lighting Parowan's main street for the holiday season. Lights were strung by Bryce Adams Clint Thornton Fred Dalton Jim Mortensen and Jay Benson. Ladise from the Tri-H Club made wreaths for the street center. Most businesses have decorated their storefront windows and praise is given for the efforts to brighten the main street.

Fatal Crash Kills Three Year Old in Wyoming
A Casper girl, three, died after a Tuesday morning crash on US 91 five miles north of Paragonah. Driver Jack Summers, 44, suffered serious injuries. Summers’s sister Jamnita and a nine month old, Ron Dean Houston, sustained injuries. Troopers J Lowe Barton Ralph Gongaware and Bob Reid investigated as the family returned to Casper from San Diego.
