Paragoneh Veteran William Wilhtmeon Dies at Home

William Wollameot born in Linton England in 1842 died Aug 29 at his Paragoneh home after a long illness. He arrived in Iowa in 1858 and joined the Hartie Hand Cart company, crossing plains with hardship to reach Peragonah where he lived until his death. He leaves a wife, children, grandchildren and a great grandchild. services were in the tabernacle with speakers praising his upright character. The cemetery burial followed the service with a large gathering of mourners.
