The Southern Utah Rambouillet Sheep Breeders Association held its sixth annual show with strong judging by J M Jones of Texas A&M and high praise for the improved ram wool quality. Four outside communities attended, and many lambs were sold through private sale amid modest stud ram demand. Entertainment featured Westward Gleaners and a Seiter Greater Shows lineup with a notable fencing bout ending in a bite and a festive fairground atmosphere. The show’s class winners will be published next week.

Last year's officers of the Southern Utah Hambouillet Sheep Breeders Association were nearly all re-elected at the annual meeting last Saturday after a banquet in the Relief hall. L. W. Marsden was re-elected president by acclamation, with Clarence Richards as vice president and several county directors returning. Richard B. Benson switched to the role of secretary-treasurer after a close vote, and the meeting featured a formal program and a toast by Wilford Day. Paragonah Loses Four Men in Seven Weeks
Four prominent Paragonah citizens have died in seven weeks. W S Beardman died last Saturday night from apoplexy at around age fifty nine after attending the funeral of Alexander Adams. Albert D Robb Marius Dunton and Adams had also recently died, leaving widows and several children to mourn. Adams had typhoid fever and was buried on Saturday with his family nearby. Funeral services were held Monday as Parowan residents attended.
