Graduation exercises for Parowan High School will be held Friday evening at 8 in the East Ward chapel. Professor Harrison Merrill of Brigham Young University will give the address. Diplomas will be presented as the class of 1928 participates in an elaborate program featuring orchestras, choirs, and a benediction.

Tragic Train Death Near Lund Identified
Wilbur Huntsman sixteen son of Alonzo Huntsman of Teas ant Grove was killed Sunday when No 25 train ran over him near Lund. He left home to go to a brothel in Moapa and rode a desert caravan before heading toward Lund and a train. Identified by a Moapa Valley high school cap and the name Huntsman, his father retrieved the body for burial in Moapa. County officers and a small party worked through the night to recover remains and identify the victim.

Provo visitor and stubborn fire threaten local stacks
Mr L W Mitchell from Provo visited his ailing father Jan W Mittchell then took him back home. A fire from burning rubbish spread to a wool pile belonging to James de Adama burning most of three or four loads of fat pine wood. Firefighters checked the blaze in time to save two hay stacks and nearby outbuildings.
