Laurel Fern Bement Dies in Paragonah After Illness

Laurel Fern Bement, wife of Herman G Bement, died after a 24 day illness in Paragonah on Friday March 25 at 11:15. Born November 14, 1889, in Paerowan, she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs A S Webb, married to Bernand Bement of Kanosh in the Salt Lake Temple in 1915, lived in Kanosh and Paragonah, and was a devoted wife and mother. Funeral services will be held in the Tabernacle Wednesday afternoon at 1:00, with internment in Kanosh. near relatives and friends mourn her loss.

Sheep Breeders Report On Ram and Ewe Breeding Results

W. W. Pendleton & Sons of Ady Pargwat Ukan report frets on their sheep breeding plan. They bred rams to ewes, achieved 38 percent lambing, claim larger and fatter lambs by night breeding and dry-time feeding. Over 145 lambs this year with only three losses. lambs aged weeks weighed 41 to 44 pounds, younger ones 0 to 35 pounds. From 170 ewes bred to the ram, 48 head lambed, claims 99 percent lambing.
