Body Found In Bear River From Missing Man Clark
The body of Newell Clark was recovered from Bear River about six miles from Montpelier after he disappeared Friday afternoon. A horse seen grazing led to the search, draggin g and dynamiting found the body 100 yards below the point he entered the stream. Clark, lifelong Georgetown resident and ex service man, leaves a wife four children and several siblings. Funeral services were held in Georgetown. A noted coincidence ties Clark to a past accident involving the same horse and Ivan Hoff.
